I have a 1984 Olympic gold coin, how much is it worth today?

well, it's worth at least it's weight in gold...
the coin itself can be worth more depending upon collectibility..
so, figure out how much an ounce of gold is worth today by googling it, and then go from there.
since it's not currency / legal tender, it's considered bullion, so they typicalyl aren't worth as much as say an early 1900's double eagle or something.. but its worth at least the gold value

- The 1984 Olympic $10 face value gold coin came in five varieties: Proof D (Denver), P (Philadelphia) S (San Francisco), W (West Point) and Uncirculated W (West Point). The gold content is currently worth about $460 US, but the coins are selling for around $600 US retail right now. I hope that helps.

- first its worth its weight in gold and then the value depends upon its rareity and its condition. A gold coin in mint condition will fetch more than one covered in smudges and discoloration. best bet is to have it appraised by a coin dealer.
